All Saint's Church which dates back to Saxon
times. The present church is the third to stand on this site.
Roche Abbey. Officially founded
in 1147, the stone buildings were began on the north side
of the Maltby Beck 25 years later. By the end of the 12th
century the Norman and Gothic church had been completed.
